Shinjuku Gift Gate. The world's largest Hello Kitty monument greets visitors at the Shinjuku Gift Gate, making it a popular spot to take souvenir photos. The elegant atmosphere inside the store makes shopping a pleasure for adults as well as children.
I want to go here and buy cute things that I don't really need or use. XD

See, because of twitter I don't really post anymore. Because twitter is like instant, yet short, blogging. (FYI my twitter is http://twitter.com/darenothope)

Plus, I don't have anything in particular to blog about.

I'm going to Japan in November so if anyone has any suggestions for stuff to do there that'd be great. I was going to post a relevant "cute Japan" picture. I google imaged that and just got Japanese girls in bikinis so ... not going to post a photo of that. XD

I'm still a little bit sleepy so my BoF 17 recap/review or whatever it is I wrote is going to wait 'til tomorrow.

But, Jaimie aka [info]laimiejai asked for a list of stuff I want for my birthday, which is a month and a bit away. (J, do you even read this anymore?)

I want:

*Boys Over Flowers OST 1 and 2
*Boys Over Flowers OST Poster
*Our School E.T. (starring Lee Min Ho, hee!)

I've just talked myself out of buying their latest single. There's no Limited Edition versions left and I only wanted them for the DVD of the PVs. I wish the Australian dollar was better. Everything's so expensive.

My Arashi calendar is still "searching from suppliers". Can't believe I ordered it too late.

Ooh ... decaf coffee is good.

So the new single. 3 versions. The Limited Edition A version, with Arashi and not Ohno on the cover, is already sold out on YesAsia. When's the next time Ohno's going to be solo on a single cover? But I'm trying to cut back on Arashi buying. Plus I still have to get the calendar and the DVD. DVD is first on my list. Approximately $93 Australian dollars. Gah. I don't think the gift card I got for Christmas is enough!!!

Still haven't watch Boys Over Flowers. My net is shaped and I'm going to wait for subs. I feel like the next few episodes are not going to happy ones so I'm just going to wait. I can't stand the angst.

I watch up to episode 7 of My Lovely Sam Soon. I knew at the end of that ep it was going to rough for the main couple for a while so I read ahead and now I don't have to watch it anymore. So, yay, for me I guess??

x-posted to my Vox because I feel it's being neglected ...

I had a dream last night that I had an iPhone. But it was like my old Windows computer and kept frakkin' up on me.

It's supposed to be 44 degrees Celsius (which is 111.2 degrees Fahrenheit). Tomorrow is supposed to be 47 degrees Celsius (116.6 Fahrenheit).

I don't really mind. I don't have an air conditioner. I have a fan and the house for some reason likes to keep in all the hot air. But I don't mind a bit of sweat. It's the burning pain of the sun I don't like. Winter is in the middle of the year here and it makes it feel like it lasts longer than it does so I am embracing this warm weather because in winter I forget what it feels like.

I think all those British backpackers on Bondi Beach are going to drop like flies though. xP

Still reading up about SV "Requiem". I told my brother about what happened to Lana and his exact words were "That's gay. The should have just killed her". And he doesn't even really care about the show. (Although, I know we probably shouldn't be using the word "gay" in that way.)

So, at this pop culture expo thing is a Japanese karaoke contest. I want someone to sing ARASHI or a song that I know ... I think it'd be really funny. I might stick around to watch that.

Random thing from my day ... my little cousin can write now. I wrote it down once and then she copied. Was a little bit happy about that. My other cousin was watching Yamada Taro Monogatari and now she likes Nino and Arashi. So yay for another convert.

Bonus random photo of Neighbours tour bus. The one that came to pick us up for trivia in Melbourne. I was bored and made it colourful. Click for original size. The original pic is next to it for comparison. I never noticed how not colourful real photos are.

[mood| calm]

Just as I was about to post this Sydney FC scored. It's 1 - 0 to Sydney FC.

And I write vs LA Galaxy, but all the press has been about David Beckham. I can't even name anyone else in LA Galaxy.

I'm watching it with the volume turned down because the commentary is annoying me. But now I can hear the Filipino music my dad is playing in the lounge. And because I have the attention span of nothing I'm flicking back to watch a repeat of CSI: Miami with Holly Valance do a minor role.

David Beckham seems to be a lot nicer than I thought. He was very happy walking around Sydney today and took photos and signed stuff for a lot of people. His voice isn't as James Blunt-y as I remember. I guess that voice deepening comes with age.

EDIT: Now 2 - 0 =P
EDIT #2: 3 - 0
And Juninho is so little...
EDIT #3: 3 - 1
Btw, thought it was funny that in LA Galaxy's dressing room they were freaked out by the camera and were just staring at it like it was an alien from space before covering it with a towel.
EDIT #4: 3 - 2
FINAL SCORE: 5 - 3
Yay for Sydney FC!
Really wish the commentators would stop calling it David Beckham's LA Galaxy.
Makes me want to support Sydney FC now.
Beckham played the whole 90 minutes.
Damn it. Beckham's whirlwind stay in Sydney has accidentally made me a fan.

I just made tea and there's no milk ... yes, petty. I know.

I'm currently stressing over what I shall be doing after this year. Choices, choices. 'Tis really a shame I don't have a "goal".

Anyhoo ... just waiting for Heroes to be show up and probably should get cracking on that homework ...

And I'm waiting on my Spice Girls ticket notification thing. Really really really want to see them in concert!
